IT engineers in China

In order to know the actual situation of programmers in China , I translated a recent Chinese programmer report.
There are about 18.5 million programmers in the world, 10% of them are from China.
1, centralized distribution
Three quarters of the country’s programmers are located in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, etc., as the most economically and technologically developed regions of China, offer high quality conditions for employment and development.
2, the average age is low
Most programmers are under the age of 35, and more than half of the programmers are between the ages of 23 and 30 as the Chinese internet industry begans in the 1990th.
3, male to female ratio 12:1
Programmer groups are always dominated by men, with a male-female ratio of 12:1 or higher, and also one of the highest single-rate occupations.
According to statistics, the percentage of single male programmers is 52.46% and the percentage of single female programmers is 46.90%!
4, java is popular
Many developers use Java (43.03%), JavaScript (32.38%), HTML5 (32.38%), and PHP (25.41%).
5, the income difference
A person working in Engineering in China typically earns around 24,900 CNY per month. Salaries range from 7,850 CNY (lowest average) to 52,300 CNY (highest average, actual maximum salary is higher).

Programmer development occurs primarily in economically developed cities. The languages are mostly Java, HTML5, PHP, after 3-5 years of work, the income level is much higher than other industries.
Single rates are relatively high, but worth the fight as a lifelong career development!
